At Connie’s Kitchen we are on a mission to reinvent everyday family foods by packing them only with good stuff. We believe there should be no compromise on the foods your family eats most often - they should be healthy, sustainable and taste amazing.
Organic farming is a more sustainable way of food production for our planet and we believe organic fruits and vegetables taste better. However, there are many organic labels out there, and it’s very difficult to know the difference.
On this Earth Day, we wanted to explain why being 100% Bio Knospe certified is a central part of our sustainability values at Connie’s Kitchen. We chose the "Bud" because of it’s holistic approach to people, nature and animals.
In a WWF Test, 31 of the most important organic and sustainable certifications in Switzerland were judged. Bio Knospe was one of the few systems to receive the highest possible rating of “Ausgezeichnet” (Exceptional) for it's extremely high standards in the following 5 areas:
1. Environment (Water, Soil, Climate, Biodiversity)
2. Social Practices (Fairtrade)
3. Animal Welfare
4. Management
5. Processes and Compliance
Are you curious to find out what rating WWF gave other well known organic labels (e.g. EU BIO, Demeter, Coop Naturaplan, Migros Bio etc.)? Then, please use this link or download the WWF-Ratgeber-App to do the comparison.
We are proud of our "Bud". It's an Organic, Fairtrade, Animal Welfare and Earth friendly system in one. We believe it’s an investment in the quality and taste of our product and in our planet. We hope you agree!
If so, please help us spread the word about Connie’s Kitchen, by sharing this article or by telling your friends about our delicious Ketchup.
Thank You and Happy Earth Day!
