Ingredients (2 people):
1 cauliflower head
100ml of Connie’s Kitchen BBQ Sauce
2 tbsp of maple syrup
4 tbsp of yogurt
4 tsp of tahini
2 tsp of lemon juice
Flaky salt and cracked pepper to taste
Top with:
Toasted Sesame seeds
Fresh herbs of your choice
Instructions:
1.Preheat the oven to 200C. Take one whole cauliflower and cut it down the middle through the stem. From each half cut a 5cm thick steak. Save the rest of the cauliflower florets for another recipe / side dish
2.Brush both sides of cauliflower steaks generously with the BBQ sauce mix. Place on grease proof paper on over tray.
3.Roast in the oven, set to 200C, for about 30 minutes
4.When halfway through, turn and brush with more sauce. Increase temp to 220C and turn 2 more times until the 30 minutes are up.
5.When ready, top with sesame seeds and fresh herbs.
6.Serve over the yogurt-tahini sauce.
