Crunchy & tasty Sourdough Bread Recipe and ready in just 1 hour!
INGREDIENTS:
Each 1 cup of: - rye whole grain flour*, – wheat whole grain flour*, -rye flour, -spelt flour, -wheat flour (in total about 700-750g), 1 Tbsp Bread Seasoning (optional), 1Tbsp Salt, 1 sachet dried yeast (or 1/2 a cube of fresh yeast), 2Tbsp dried Sourdough, 1/2l (max.) of tepid water.
*ground the whole grains fresh if you have a mill
RECIPE:
Mix dry ingredients, add water and stir by hand. Let the dough rest for 1/2h. Preheat the oven to 250°C. Wet a spoon and ‘cut’ out small bread size amounts (approx. 9) and roll in seeds (e.g. sesame, poppy seed, rolled oats, linseed). Put dough on a baking tray, sprinkle with water and bake immediately for about 25-30mins. Let the bread cool off on a cooling rack.
If you have a combi-steamer oven, choose the option ‘humid hot air’ which will give your bread an even nicer crust.
